Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to every stay and activity at Kalinaw Island Resort, operated by Kalinaw Hospitality Inc., El Nido, Palawan, Philippines. By confirming a booking you accept them.
1. Booking and payment
- A booking is confirmed when we receive your 30% deposit.
- The remaining balance is paid on arrival, by card or cash.
- All prices are in US dollars and include local taxes and service.
- Rates for stays of 7 nights or more receive a 10% discount.
2. Cancellation
- Cancel 30 days or more before arrival: full refund of your deposit.
- Cancel 14 to 29 days before arrival: half of the deposit is refunded.
- Cancel less than 14 days before arrival: the deposit is kept.
- If a typhoon or flight cancellation stops your trip, we move your stay to new dates for free.
3. Check in and check out
Check in from 2 PM, check out until 11 AM. Early arrival and late departure are free when the villa is available. Just ask.
4. House rules
- The resort is a quiet place. Loud music is not allowed after 10 PM.
- Smoking is allowed only in open air areas, not inside villas.
- Do not touch or stand on the coral. It is alive and protected.
- Single use plastic is not allowed on the island. We provide refill bottles.
5. Activities and safety
Boat trips and diving depend on weather. Our captains have the final word on safety. If we cancel an activity, you get a full refund for it. Guests join water activities at their own risk and must follow guide instructions.
6. Liability
We are liable for our own negligence as Philippine law requires. We are not liable for loss caused by weather, flight changes, or events outside our control. Please bring travel insurance that covers island trips.
7. Damage
Guests are responsible for damage to villas or equipment beyond normal use. We always talk with you first and charge only real repair costs.
